Rower LLC is committed to helping families chart their own course in resolving disputes outside of court. Our mediators, parenting coordinators, and collaborative lawyers provide families with excellent options to settle complicated matters in a compassionate way.
Dispute Resolution Processes
There’s a common misconception that family law matters—from divorces to parenting disputes and prenuptial agreements—are only resolved in the courtroom or through aggressive and intense negotiation between attorneys. In reality, there are many ways to resolve a divorce. In fact, most family law matters are settled outside of court; 97% of all court-involved cases settle before trial. Many attorneys say that it’s not a matter of whether you’re going to negotiate your resolution, it’s a matter of how.
Dispute Resolution can include several different processes:
Mediation
Collaborative law
Parenting coordination
Negotiated settlement
By electing to use one of these processes, families can find new, creative solutions that suit their unique circumstances, whether in drafting a prenuptial agreement, resolving a divorce, or negotiating a parenting schedule. The personal attention and flexibility of these processes provide families with more freedom and control over how their family will function moving forward than what a judge would have time to develop in court.
At Rower LLC, we are proud to offer families several options to resolve disputes. In addition to formalized dispute resolution processes, many couples negotiate their prenups, parenting schedules, and divorces completely out of court, and our attorneys are skilled at devising thoughtful and compassionate settlements.
