Siobhan Stewart
Partner
Siobhan Stewart has practiced matrimonial and family law exclusively since 2016, focusing on divorces, prenuptial agreements, and custody and cohabitation agreements. Prior to joining Rower LLC, Siobhan worked for eight years with Chemtob Moss Forman & Beyda LLP, where she was a partner.
Siobhan began her career in complex commercial litigation in 2001. She worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Covington & Burling, where she represented financial institutions in securities litigation and executive compensation matters.
Siobhan pivoted to family law to support individual people. She is deeply motivated by guiding people through the dispute process with integrity, and helping her clients to discern, and stay focused on, what really matters.
Siobhan received a BA in English at the University of California, Berkeley in 1995 and her JD at Yale Law School in 2001. She attended a Lycee Francais before high school and speaks conversational French.
Siobhan serves as co-chair of the scholar advisory committee for the Jackie Robinson Foundation, a nonprofit organization which provides scholarship support and leadership training to promising and talented college students.

Sarah B. Hechtman
Partner
Sarah Hechtman, who first joined the firm in 2022, has been promoted to partner. Sarah has been a matrimonial and family law attorney for nearly two decades. In addition to her skills as a litigator, Sarah is an experienced mediator and collaborative lawyer who is committed to helping clients resolve their family disputes in as peaceful and dignified a way as possible. Acknowledging that “one size does not fit all,” Sarah seeks to help clients resolve their matters in the way that works best for them, whether through negotiation or litigation.
Sarah is experienced in handling complex divorce cases involving substantial financial assets as well as highly contested child custody issues. She has successfully negotiated and drafted pre- and postnuptial agreements and has represented clients in numerous family offense, child support enforcement, and grandparent visitation proceedings. Additionally, she practices in the area of fertility law, assisting intended parents, gestational surrogates, and biological donors in navigating the legal issues implicated in the use of assisted reproductive technologies.
Sarah came to the firm with a strong background in collaborative law and mediation. She has played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s alternative dispute resolution services, as well as other areas such as fertility law.
Of this next step in her career, Sarah says, “I am thrilled to continue my work with the firm in this new capacity and look forward to collaborating with the amazing Rower team in providing thoughtful and compassionate service to our clients.”

Annie F. Garvin
Associate
Prior to joining Rower LLC in 2023, Annie was a corporate associate at Goodwin Procter LLP, where she worked in the firm’s real estate group, representing private investment fund sponsors and lenders. Annie’s coursework in law school sparked her interest in family law, which was further strengthened through her pro bono work at Goodwin, where she assisted individuals through the pro se divorce process.

Sarah Gutman
Associate
Sarah comes to Rower LLC from the litigation and enforcement group at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where she represented clients in a broad range of matters including securities litigation, employment litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and regulatory investigations. In her pro bono practice, Sarah has focused extensively on issues of gender equality, particularly gender-based violence and reproductive justice.
